Mama's Only Breakfast!

In celebration of Baby Yeager #2, my Mama friends treated me to a wonderful breakfast at The Griddle Cafe down in Hollywood. We had a great time without the kids and our visit was much enjoyed; although much too belated and short! While waiting to get in, we had some interesting entertainment as well. It has been so great having such a close group of moms to talk with and share all of the joys (and struggles) of parenthood. I am so glad to have met them all three years ago at the Rinaldi School Parent Education class. left to right - Jessica, Brooke, me, Joanna and Richelle

A Little Leprechaun in the House!

Or should I say, lots of little leprechauns in the house.  Boeing and I hosted a "Get Your Green On, or Any Other Color Under the Rainbow" party.  It was fun for the kids and the mommies.  The rainbow cake was a hit too; thank you Auntie Amy for frosting it so beautifully.

Happy Pi Day

Who wouldn't want to celebrate pi day? I decided to opt against a dessert pie, as it would be sitting around begging to be eaten until it was all gone. We had turkey pot pie for lunch and it was delicious. Boeing liked the really long number too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

This was the first year Boeing needed to actually have Valentine's to exchange. Gotta love Pinterest, because I found many cute ideas. These are the ones for his classmates at Rinaldi Parent Education (we were asked to bring in 30).
Of course, we couldn't stop the celebration there. Our friends Joanna and Sammie hosted a Valentines playdate and the kids exchanged there too! It was to cute watching them line up and collect their goodies.
What a ham!
Surprise waiting for us when we got home on Valentine's Day evening. Auntie Amy made chocolate dipped strawberries. Boeing really loved them, so Mommy did not get a taste!
Little something for our little someone.
Another Bruder!
Heart shaped cinnamon rolls. Yum Yum!
Daddy's Birthday too!

A Few More Photos

Every year Uncle Bubba takes fall photos of Boeing. Although we usually go to a pumpkin patch, we had a perfect setting right in GrandpE's yard. He did a great job hamming it up for the camera; bribed of course!
Hard to have a favorite, but this may be it!

These are some long over due to be posted photos Bubba shot when we went to Utah for Wendy and Nate's wedding (June 10, 2011). The scenery was perfect for these cute little cowboy boots and plaid shirt. Such a handsome boy!

Family Photos, Finally!!

I have been wanting to take family photos for quite some time now. In Robin fashion, I spent so much time mulling over the attire that photos did not get done. End result, no current photos. As we transition Boeing's baby room into a shared room for our new arrival, I knew I wanted a family photo up for him to look at. So, I just asked Uncle Bubba if he was available to shoot some at the local park and only gave myself a couple of days to plan the rest. We had a limited amount of time to get the shots, as I intentionally scheduled it between two timed activities. This worked fantastic, only taking one hour from start to finish. Well, Uncle Bubba had more work once I picked my favorites, but really, why do I make such a big deal of it? I'm definately going this route for our next shoot (aiming for June). BTW, sadly I do not look pregnant in most of the photos, rather, "thick". Oh well!

Beautiful Day in January at the Beach

With the weather predicted perfect, a few of us mommies took the opportunity to take the kids to the beach. What a fantastic day. The weather, friends, kids and scenery were unbeatable.
