Three and a HALF!

Sometime a few weeks back three and a half snuck up on Boe. I can't believe how fast his third year is going. He is such a pleasure in our lives. It seems that lately he has just really been the happiest little guy, with such an even temperament and cheerful disposition. Now, he is three, so there are some minor imperfections, however, he is pretty close to perfect. The cognitive reasoning this kid has amazes Kent and I (as well as the rest of the family) daily. He tells us things that are a compilation of the many things we cram his brain full of. "Why" is a favorite question of every hour. So glad the way he has turned out; glad with the choices we have made in attachment parenting and a little (OK, a lot) of codling.

Mama's Only Breakfast!

In celebration of Baby Yeager #2, my Mama friends treated me to a wonderful breakfast at The Griddle Cafe down in Hollywood. We had a great time without the kids and our visit was much enjoyed; although much too belated and short! While waiting to get in, we had some interesting entertainment as well. It has been so great having such a close group of moms to talk with and share all of the joys (and struggles) of parenthood. I am so glad to have met them all three years ago at the Rinaldi School Parent Education class. left to right - Jessica, Brooke, me, Joanna and Richelle

A Little Leprechaun in the House!

Or should I say, lots of little leprechauns in the house.  Boeing and I hosted a "Get Your Green On, or Any Other Color Under the Rainbow" party.  It was fun for the kids and the mommies.  The rainbow cake was a hit too; thank you Auntie Amy for frosting it so beautifully.

Happy Pi Day

Who wouldn't want to celebrate pi day? I decided to opt against a dessert pie, as it would be sitting around begging to be eaten until it was all gone. We had turkey pot pie for lunch and it was delicious. Boeing liked the really long number too!
